Other programs in place include a transfer program towards a four-year degree and occupational programs (one and two-year programs of study).

Why do athletes attend
junior college programs?

JUCO is a competitive sports opportunity for those not yet academically eligible for higher level competition. Others might go to JUCO out of high school to draw interest from Division I, 2, 3, and NAIA scouts.
